  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 5 g (0.2 oz) salt

  • 50 ml (1.7 fl oz) vegetable oil
  • 900 g (32 oz) potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 200 g (7.1 oz) shredded cheese
  • 200 g (7.1 oz) mayonnaise
  • 100 g (3.5 oz) yogurt
  • 50 g (1.8 oz) mustard seeds

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Prep the Pork: Using a sharp knife, make small pockets throughout the pork neck. Here’s the simple trick: In each pocket, stuff a thin slice of apple (about 1/4 inch thick). Season the pork generously with salt and black pepper.
  2. Sear and Sauté: Heat vegetable oil in a large Dutch oven or oven-safe pot over medium-high heat. Once hot, sear the pork on all sides until golden brown. Remove the pork and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Veggies: Add the chopped onions and carrots to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
